The Garages offer spaces to the ‘Stümper’ of Zurich. DIYers and craftspeople which would typically work out of their garages can rent and share flexible atelier spaces. At the beginning of the row lies the vertical connection to the Hardbrücke. At the head of the row lies the Schaulager overlooking the commons. Various uses are stacked on top of each other: an exhibition space, offices, a library and an archive. The building serves as a means to mediate local crafts knowledge. Canteen and School︎︎︎
